Do new settings update products already done?
No. Settings apply to tasks that start after you save. Run a new task with skip turned off to apply them to products already updated.

No. Products already updated keep their meta tags. New settings apply to tasks, repeats and auto-processing that start after you click Save.
To apply them to finished products, create a task for those products and turn off Skip previously processed products. Each product rewritten uses one credit.
