How the save bar works and when new settings take effect.
Changes on the Settings page are not saved automatically. When you edit a field, the Shopify save bar appears at the top of the admin.
- Click Save to keep your changes.
- Click Discard to return to the saved values.
When settings take effect
Saved settings apply to tasks that start after you save: new tasks, scheduled repeats and auto-processed products. A task that is already running may keep the settings it started with. Products already updated keep their meta tags. To apply new settings to them, run a new task with Skip previously processed products turned off.
