Set your shop name

RANKit Settings & languages

The name RANKit uses when brand name options are on.

The Shop Name card in Settings holds the name you want to appear in meta tags. The placeholder reads Enter your shop name as you want it to appear in SEO meta tags.

How it is used

  • It is added to meta titles when Include store/brand name is on in SEO Meta Title Settings.
  • It is added to meta descriptions when Include store/brand name is on in SEO Meta Description Settings.
  • If the field is empty, the brand name options have no effect.

Use the short, customer-facing brand name, for example Lumen rather than Lumen Lighting Store Inc., so titles keep room for keywords.
