Will collection tasks catch products added later?
Only if the product is in the collection when it is created, which is typical for automated collections. Manual additions later are missed.

RANKit checks collection membership when the product is created. Automated collections, which add products by rules like type or vendor, usually include the product right away, so it is picked up.
If you add a product to a manual collection later, it won't be auto-processed. Run a task on that collection to cover it.
